Shipping Policy
1. Shipping/Processing
- Please keep in mind that Paved Forward is not Amazon and will not be able to deliver your packages at the same time rate. We will work diligently to make sure all your orders are shipped out as efficiently and quickly as possible but be aware some of the products Paved Forward sells are highly sought after and may have longer lead times. Rest assured that we will not charge you any extra because the product is in high demand.
- All orders placed on Paved Forward will be processed Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST. No orders will be processed on Saturday or Sunday or on any Holidays.
- Billing and shipping addresses are the responsibility of the customer to ensure correctness. Paved Forward is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses.
- Orders can be placed for 50 U.S. States only. Paved Forward will not ship anything internationally.
- Orders that contain serialized items will not be shipped out until we have the customers dealer’s Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and Special Occupational Taxpayer (SOT) information. The customer is responsible for making sure Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) information is correct and updated. Paved Forward will not be responsible for obtaining customers dealers Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) or Special Occupational Taxpayer (SOT).
- All orders will be shipped through UPS, FEDEX, or USPS. Rifles and ammunition will be shipped via ground, and handguns will be shipped 2ND Day Air.
- Expedited options require a Physical Address, no P.O. Boxes or mailbox services.
- After the order is purchased and processed, the customer will receive a tracking number through email once the item has shipped.
- After the order is processed, on average, it will take 3-5 business days to ship out of the warehouse. Delivery dates may change throughout the day. Please know Paved Forward is working diligently to process and ship out your orders as quickly as possible!
- Please be aware that Paved Forward works with many different vendors and manufacturers so packages may vary in size and appearance.
2. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are based on your location, product weight, box dimension, and order cost total.
- Additional Charges for Oversized or Overweight Items may apply. Some items require an additional shipping charge due to size, weight, or quantity ordered.
- Items considered HAZARDOUS may require a Hazardous Material upcharge of $24. A signature will be required for delivery.
- Shipping and handling charges are subject to change without notice.
3. Firearms/Ammunition Restrictions
- US export regulations require all shipments from any online store to be sent to United States customers only.
- Many states now require tax to be collected on all parts of orders, including the shipping charges.
- All ammunition is considered hazardous and will be shipped Ground in the contiguous 48 states only to a verified street address. Other state restrictions may limit your ability to purchase ammunition. All items in an order containing ammunition will be shipped Ground.
- Many local and state restrictions exist that will limit a customer’s ability to purchase ammunition, firearms, firearms parts, magazines, and other items.
- Express shipping methods (Next Day, Second Day) must be used for all handgun sales and cannot be used for PO Box destinations.
- Bullets (not loaded ammunition) can only ship using Ground All items in an order containing bullets will be shipped via UPS Ground
- Rifles and Ammunition can be shipped via ground.
- FFL TO FFL ONLY For California Compliant pistols.
- Connecticut: Will ship with only 10 round magazines (or less as applicable for handgun model).
- Illinois: Will ship with only 10 round magazines (or less as applicable for handgun model).
- Massachusetts: Sales are only to current FFL holders. Will ship with only 10 round magazines (or less as applicable for handgun model).
- All states: Orders containing ammunition can only be shipped Ground. This will apply to the entire order, for all items in the order.
- Alaska: No sales of ammunition.
- California: Must be shipped to a current and valid FFL. Orders received that are not shipped to a current and valid FFL address will be automatically canceled. Ammunition vendor licenses issued by the state of California are not an acceptable alternative. Any ammunition shipped to California must contain a Proposition 65 warning. Available through ATF.
- Connecticut: Customers must have either a pistol permit, an eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver, or an eligibility certificate for a long gun in order to purchase ammunition. [DESPP requirements]. Immediately after an order, customer must contact the vendor indicating they need to provide us with a copy of a Connecticut permit or license, and a copy of their current driver's license with an address matching the shipping address for the order.
- District of Columbia (Washington D.C.): No sales of ammunition.
- Hawaii: No sales of ammunition.
- Illinois: Customer must have a valid FOID card.
- Massachusetts: No sales of ammunition.
- New Jersey: You must have a valid FPID card.
- New York: No sales of ammunition.
4. Magazine Restrictions:
- California - no magazines greater than 10 rounds
- Colorado - no magazines greater than 15 rounds, effective July 1st, 2013
- Connecticut - 10 rounds and less with a valid permit.
- Delaware- No magazines greater than 17 rounds.
- Hawaii - no pistol magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- Illinois - No pistol magazines greater than 15 rounds. No rifle magazines greater than 10 rounds. Will not ship any firearm that would be considered an assault weapon under Illinois law.
- Maryland - no magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- New Jersey - no magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- New York - no magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- Massachusetts - no pistol magazines over 10 rounds and no semi-automatic rifle or semi-automatic shotgun magazines over 5 rounds, no .22 caliber conversion kits will be shipped to Massachusetts.
- Rhode Island - No magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- Vermont - No long gun magazines greater than 10 rounds, no pistol magazines greater than 15 rounds.
- Washington (State) - No magazines greater than 10 rounds.
- Washington D.C. - No magazines greater than 10 rounds.
5. Shipping Process:
- Customer finds and purchases their item at checkout.
- Customer receives an order confirmation number via customer’s email from Paved Forward after the purchase is processed.
- Once items are officially processed and shipped from the warehouse, the customer will receive a tracking number through the same email chain. Be advised, not all vendors provide tracking information.
- Packages will always be shipped through UPS, FEDEX, or USPS.
- After the item arrives, the customer will have 72 business hours to officially inspect product to identify item integrity.
- If there are any discrepancies with the product upon arrival, it is the customer’s responsibility to reach out with images and details of the issues wrong with the product within 72 business hours.
- Paved Forward will further investigate to find the origin of the issue and will email the customer with instructions on how to proceed.
6. Shipping Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled without charge if the order has not yet been officially processed.
- Please immediately email customer service with your reason for cancellation and your order information.
- Any order that has been processed will not be able to be cancelled and will have a 15% restocking fee if the customer chooses to return said item. This does not apply to Firearms or to ammunition.
- Firearms will have a flat rate fee of 50$ for cancellation on top of a 15% restocking fee. Ammunition cannot be returned by any means.
